After praising Hitler and calling himself a Nazi amid many other problematic things that probably got Kanye West kicked out of X, now his website is selling only one thing: a $20 swastika T-shirt. West even ran an advertisement of his Yeezy website during the Super Bowl. Although it aired during the Super Bowl, it wasn’t a national ad on Fox and only viewers in a few markets saw it, according to the Hollywood Reporter.
The Anti-Defamation League criticized Ye for his unhinged social media activities. “The swastika is the symbol adopted by Hitler as the primary emblem of the Nazis. It galvanized his followers in the 20th century and continues to threaten and instill fear in those targeted by antisemitism and white supremacy,” the ADL said in a statement posted on X. “There’s no excuse for this kind of behavior.”
On Sunday evening, West seemed to deactivate his own account. “I’m logging out of Twitter. I appreciate Elon for allowing me to vent, It has been very cathartic to use the world as a sounding board,” he posted.
West was previously suspended in 2022 from what was then Twitter for what Musk said at the time was “incitement to violence.” It was reinstated in July 2023.
West’s antisemitic posts are not new, he even lost his lucrative Yeezy deal with Adidas and other partnerships after antisemitic comments on X and Instagram earlier. “NEVER APOLOGIZING FOR MY JEWISH COMMENTS.” he wrote in his recent unhinged bout. His posts included dozens of comments about Jewish people and the Holocaust, including “I LOVE HITLER NOW WHAT B*****ES,” “IM A NAZI,” “Hitler was sooooo fresh,” and “I’m going to normalize talking about Hitler they way talking about killing n****s has been normalized.”
Recently, Kanye West and wife Bianca Censori created ripples on the Grammys Red Carpet as Censori was seen in her see-through nude dress. West’s unraveling on his X account began after this, triggering concerns from his fan about his mental wellbeing.
His last post before his account went dark was a rant about Taylor Swift during the Super Bowl.
