Dr. Abhijit Jain, a medical professional working in the surgical gastroenterology department of Sri Venkateswara Institute of Medical Sciences (SVIMS), has bagged the ‘Best video e-poster’ award presented at the national conference of Indian Association of Surgical Gastroenterology (IASGCON 2024) held at Patna recently.
Dr. Jain presented a video titled ‘A novel surgical technique for esophageal perforation following endoscopic dilatation of Achalasia’ under the Esophagus category at the conference.
SVIMS director cum vice-chancellor Dr. R.V. Kumar and Gastroenterology head Dr. Sivarama Krishna congratulated him for getting the award.
