‘Sigma’ teaser: Sundeep Kishan gets in action mode in Jason Sanjay’s high-octane debut

The teaser of Sundeep Kishan starrer, Sigma, which marks the directorial debut of superstar Vijay’s son, Jason Sanjay, was unveiled by the makers on Tuesday, December 23, 2025.

With music by Thaman S, the film also stars Faria Abdullah, Raju Sundaram, Sampath Raj, Shiv Pandit, Anbu Thasan, Yog Japee, Magalakshmi, Sheela Rajkumar, Kamalesh and Kiran Konda in pivotal roles.

The teaser offers a brief glimpse into the actioner. It opens with a voice over of Sundeep, who talks about the increasing value of land, water, air and money. “But when it comes to our people, we are worth nothing,” he says, as the teaser shows him in a close-up shot, opening his eyes. Then it gives a quick look at some action scenes, with the pumped-up music by Thaman accompanying in the background. It ends with a shot of Sundeep shooting bullets from a rifle in style.

Sigma is shot by Krishnan Vasant and edited by Praveen KL. The film is produced by Subaskaran’s Lyca Productions. Its release date has not been announced yet.

Sanjay’s foray into direction was announced in August 2023. Sanjay completed his schooling in Chennai and then pursued a Film Production Diploma at Toronto Film School, followed by a BA (Hons) in Screenwriting in London.

Meanwhile, Vijay is gearing up for the release of Jan Nayagan which will hit the screens on January 9 next year.
