Traffic diversions near Saroornagar Indoor Stadium from 3 p.m. to 9 p.m on September 29 for Grand Bathukamma celebrations

The Rachakonda Traffic Police have announced traffic restrictions and diversions in view of the ‘Grand Bathukamma Celebrations’ to be held today (September 29, 2025) at Saroornagar Indoor Stadium, where more than 10,000 women are expected to participate in an attempt to set a Guinness World Record.

With heavy traffic anticipated in and around the stadium, commuters have been advised to avoid the stretch between L.B. Nagar and Kothapet from 3 p.m. to 9 p.m. The police have requested motorists to plan their journeys in advance and use alternative routes to ensure smooth movement and public safety.

According to the advisory, vehicles travelling from Dilsukhnagar towards L.B. Nagar may take a diversion at Omni X Roads towards the Nagole route. Similarly, commuters moving from Chintalakunta towards Dilsukhnagar may divert at Chintalakunta X Roads towards Sagar X Roads and proceed via Karmanghat.

The Commissioner of Police, Rachakonda, appealed to citizens to cooperate with the traffic arrangements for the successful and peaceful conduct of the event.
