UDF to launch campaign seeking steps to address farmers’ grievances

The United Democratic Front (UDF) is set to begin a 10-day ‘Malayora Samara Pracharanayatra’ from January 27, demanding steps to address critical issues facing farmers and residents in hilly regions of the State.

Leader of the Opposition V.D. Satheesan said in a statement that the campaign would commence at Ullikal in the Irrikur Assembly constituency and culminate at Amburi at Thiruvananthapuram on February 5.

Farmers’ meetings will also be organised at 20 locations across the State as part of the campaign.
