Train passenger collapses, dies

A 55-year-old train passenger collapsed and died while he was on his way to Coimbatore on Wednesday.

The passenger, identified as Rauf from Thikkodi, reportedly fell unconscious soon after he boarded the Coimbatore Express train from Koyilandy. Though fellow passengers called the rescue team and rushed him to a nearby hospital, he reportedly died on the way. The body was shifted to the Koyilandy taluk hospital for post-mortem.
