In view of the upcoming Secondary School Certificate examination, the Cyberabad Commissionerate has issued prohibitory orders against assembly of five or more individuals within a 200-metre radius of all examination centres.
Additionally, all photocopy and Internet centres located within a 100-metre radius of the venues will also remain closed during the period of examination.
The order issued by Cyberabad Police Commissioner Avinash Mohanty to maintain public order and prevent any disturbances around examination centres will be in force from 6 a.m. on March 21 to 6 p.m. on April 4.
Exemptions from the order have been granted to police officers, military personnel, home guards and the flying squad from the education department, along with funeral processions.
The Cyberabad Police have cautioned that any violation of these restrictions will lead to prosecution.
