Police Commissioner S.V. Raja Sekhara Babu on Saturday (February 8) emphasised the growing need for robust cybersecurity framework.
Speaking at ‘Hackathon X on Cyber Security’, organised by National Cyber Security Research Council (NCSCR), New Delhi, in association with All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) and A.P. Innovation Society on VIT-A.P. University campus, he said with the rapid digital transformation, cyber threats have become more sophisticated. “Events like these foster innovations and prepare the next generation to tackle security challenges effectively,” he said and commended VIT-A.P. University and the NCSRC for bringing young minds together to brainstorm on a domain that is increasingly becoming a challenge for security agencies.
Honorary Advisor, NCSCR, New Delhi, Shaik J. Ahmed spoke about the importance of collaborative efforts in strengthening cyber resilience. “Cybersecurity is a collective responsibility,” he said.
“Hackathons serve as a breeding ground for ground-breaking ideas that can shape the future of cybersecurity,” said Director, NCSRC, Khalieraaj.
Vice-chancellor of VIT-A.P. University S.V. Kota Reddy, director (Communications), Department of IT, Electronics and Communications, Andhra Pradesh, K. Dhavuryan Naik, manager of Andhra Pradesh Technology Services Ltd. P. Srinivasulu, registrar of VIT-A.P. University Jagadish C. Mudiganti, deputy director of student welfare Khadeer Pasha, coordinator Syed Hussain and others were present.
