A Dutch delegation led by its Vice Minister of Health, Curative Care, Barbara Goezinne, has expressed interest in the deployment of a few selected advanced-stage India and Karnataka-based AI health tech in the Netherlands.
Ms. Goezinne, who met Minister of Health and Family Welfare Dinesh Gundu Rao at the Centre for Cellular and Molecular Platforms (C-CAMP) on Thursday (March 28, 2025) said, “We are committed to work together in the field of medical technology, particularly in the development of innovative, labour-saving medical solutions to support all healthcare professionals.”
According to C-CAMP, the Dutch delegation had expressed interest especially in labour-saving technologies in healthcare, innovations in pharmaceuticals with AI in drug development and discovery and remote monitoring and telehealth related solutions as a screening method for medical triaging.
It added that deliberations also centred upon aligning the Netherlands public health system with the State government through a dedicated effort such as an Innovation Bridge anchored by C-CAMP, as part of a bilateral partnership between government and the Netherlands counterpart.
Ms. Goezinne was taken on an innovation walkthrough of selected C-CAMP digital health innovations where she interacted directly with innovators.
C-CAMP digital health innovations include comprehensive maternal and foetal health monitoring system, AI for early detection of lung cancer, AI-powered tuberculosis care, telemetric, tele ECG and vitals monitoring system with auto interpretation, point of care diagnostic solutions for infectious and non-communicable diseases among others.
