The College of Nursing, CMC, organised the 28th annual conference for the Nurse Researchers Society of Innovations (NRSI) on its Vellore campus recently, with a focus on pioneering advancements in nursing research and the critical role that nurses play in shaping the future of healthcare.
Two-day event
A release said that 444 healthcare professionals, researchers, and students from the country participated in the two-day conference to discuss cutting-edge innovations in the field. The theme for this year was ‘Transforming Health Care: Expanding the Research Horizon in Nursing’, which aimed at bringing the participants together to share knowledge and ideas on transforming nursing through innovative research.
Delegates participated in workshops, five plenary sessions, oral and paper presentations.
The conference concluded with a call for action to develop collaborative projects that push the boundaries of innovation, and to collaborate across disciplines to improve patient care. On the occasion, Vinitha Ravindran, Dean, College of Nursing and Alice Sony, Nursing Superintendent, CMC, were present, the release said.
