Former Chief Secretary and writer K. Jayakumar has been selected for the Azhikode Smaraka Award 2024 instituted by Dr. Sukumar Azhikode Vichara Vedi.
In a statement issued here, Dr. Sukumar Azhikode Vichara Vedi office-bearers said that Jayakumar had been chosen for the prize for his contributions to art and literature. The award carries a purse of ₹11,111, a citation and a plaque.
The award will be presented to Mr. Jayakumar in a function to be held at Thottappally on January 24 at 4 p.m.
