Three persons were killed on the spot and one sustained serious injuries in an early morning road accident on the Outer Ring Road (ORR) near Bonguluru exit. The Adibatla police booked a case.
According to police, the accident took place around 3.26 a.m. on Friday (July 18, 2025) near pillar number 108 between Pedda Amberpet and Bonguluru. “Four individuals were travelling in a red hatchback (TS 07 HW 5858) from Pedda Amberpet towards Bonguluru when the vehicle rammed into the rear of a lorry,” said an officer from the Adibatla police.
The impact left the car completely mangled. While three of the passengers died instantly, the fourth person was seriously injured and shifted to Niladri Hospital in BN Reddy Nagar for treatment.
The deceased were trapped inside the wreckage, and emergency teams worked to retrieve their bodies.
The lorry involved in the crash fled the scene, and efforts are on to trace the vehicle.
Police teams from Adibatla and officers from Ibrahimpatnam division attended the spot and have taken up investigation.
A case has been registered, and further details are awaited.
