Kothapeta TDP MLA Bandaru Satyanarayana Rao and Dr. B. R. Ambedkar Konaseema Telugu Yuvatha district president Ch. Sateesh Raju sustained minor injuries on Wednesday after a pair of oxen overturned the bullock cart from which the leaders were addressing a rally at Alamuru village in Dr. B. R. Ambedkar Konaseema district.
The incident occurred during the rally taken out by the TDP cadre to celebrate the success of the ‘‘Annadaatha Sukheebhava’‘ scheme.
The duo were admitted to a nearby hospital for minor injuries. A minor surgery was performed on Mr. Sateesh Raju’s leg.
