Sri Lanka captain Kusal Mendis won the toss and elected to bat first on March 18 in the series-deciding third one-day cricket international against Bangladesh.

Sri Lanka levelled the series with a three-wicket victory in the second game following a six-wicket loss in the opener.

The visitors made one change with off-spinner Maheesh Theekshana returning to replace injured pace bowler Dilshan Madushanka.

Bangladesh made three changes for its quest to seal a second successive ODI series victory over Sri Lanka.

Batter Anamul Haque, paceman Mustafizur Rahman and legspinner Rishad Hossain replaced Liton Das, Tanzim Hasan and Taijul Islam. The ODI series will be followed by two test matches.
