The makers of Revolver Ritahave announced the movie’s release date. Starring Keerthy Suresh in the lead, the film is directed by J K Chandru.
The Tamil movie will hit the screens on August 27, 2025, on the account of Ganesh Chaturthi. The makers released a video to reveal the release date.
A comedy action drama, Revolver Rita sees Keerthy Suresh in a massy avatar. The actor plays a character who takes on a bunch of goons. The film’s teaser was released in October 2024. The promotional video kept the viewer guessing about Keerthy’s character as a bunch of miscreants wonder if she is a RAW agent, police officer or a don.
The film was wrapped in May 2024. Mime Gopi, Redin Kingsley, Sendrayan and stunt master Super Subbarayan are the other prominent actors in the movie.
Revolver Rita is produced by Sudhan Sundaram and Jagadish Palanisamy under the banners Passion Studios and The Route respectively. Dinesh Krishnan is the cinematographer while Praveen KL has edited the movie.

Meanwhile, Keerthy was last seen in Baby John, the Hindi remake of Vijay’s Tamil hit Theri (2016). On the personal front, the actor got married to her long-time boyfriend Antony Thattil on December 12, 2024.
