Actor Allu Arjun visited KIMS Hospitals in Secunderabad on Tuesday (January 7, 2025) to check the condition of eight-year-old Sritej who got injured in the stampede during the premiere of Pushpa-2 at Sandhya Theatre on December 4, 2024.

Actor Allu Arjun visited KIMS Hospital in Secunderabad on Tuesday (January 7, 2025) morning to check on the condition of eight-year-old Sritej, who remains hospitalised following injuries sustained in the stampede during the premiere of Pushpa-2at Sandhya Theatre on December 4, 2024.
“Allu Arjun sought permission from the police to visit the boy. Once it was approved, he informed the hospital about his plans. Arrangements were made accordingly. The actor spent about 15 minutes at the hospital,” the hospital authorities said.

Sritej has been in an Intensive Care Unit (ICU) since the incident. According to the health bulletin issued by KIMS Hospital on Tuesday (January 7, 2025), Sritej is maintaining his vital parameters well without the need for extraneous support. He has been afebrile (not having fever) for the past few days, and antibiotics have been discontinued. He continues to tolerate nasogastric feeds and is receiving supportive therapies.
The bulletin also noted some improvement in Sritej’s condition. His episodes of agitation and dystonia have reduced but remain present. While his sensorium remains unchanged, he exhibits intermittent spontaneous eye opening and crying, though without meaningful eye contact or consistent response to verbal stimuli.
