Bollywood actor Parineeti Chopra and politician Raghav Chadha have named their baby boy Neer. The couple, who got married in 2023, became parents on October 19 last month.
They took to social media to share photos where they are posing with the tiny feet of the baby boy. In the caption, they explained the name’s meaning and wrote, Jalasya rūpam, premasya svarūpam – tatra eva Neer. Our hearts found peace in an eternal drop of life. We named him ‘Neer’ – pure, divine, limitless.”
Announcing Neer’s birth last month, the couple had written on social media, “He’s finally here. Our baby boy. And we literally can’t remember life before. Arms full, hearts are fuller. First we had each other, now we have everything.”
The couple got engaged on May 13, 2023 in New Delhi after dating for several months and later got married in an intimate ceremony on September 24, 2023 in Udaipur. The wedding was attended by close family and friends.
On the work front, Parineeti was last seen in Imtiaz Ali’s Amar Singh Chamkila, which also starred Diljit Dosanjh in the lead. She will be seen next in a mystery-thriller web-series, which is set to be helmed by Rensil D’Silva.
