Andhra Pradesh Minister for HRD, IT, and Electronics Nara Lokesh will undertake a six-day official visit to Australia from October 19 to 24 as part of the Special Visits Programme (SVP) at the invitation of the Australian Government.

The visit aims to study advanced teaching methodologies, strengthen educational and industrial collaborations, and promote the upcoming CII Partnership Summit 2025, scheduled to be held in Visakhapatnam on November 14 and 15.

According to an official release on Saturday, Australian High Commissioner to India, Philip Green, extended the invitation, appreciating Andhra Pradesh’s leadership in human resource, technology, and economic development.

Mr. Lokesh’s itinerary includes visits to the leading institutions such as University of New South Wales, Western Sydney University, Griffith University, and University of Melbourne to explore modern pedagogical models and technology-driven learning.

He will also hold meetings with Australian Ministers for Skills, Innovation, and Economic Growth, as well as representatives of the Business Council of Australia and Australian Trade and Investment Commission.

Mr. Lokesh will participate in roadshows to be organised by the Australia India Business Council (AIBC) in Sydney and Melbourne to attract global participation in the Visakhapatnam summit. His visit also includes discussions on sports infrastructure, trade, and skill development collaborations.
