Did you know Naga Chaitanya still has a morse code tattoo dedicated to his ex-wife Samantha Ruth Prabhu? – Times of India

Naga Chaitanya has always been secretive about the morse code tattoo on his left hand, but during the promotion of his film ‘Laal Singh Chaddha‘, the actor opened up about it. When asked about the craziest fan experiences, he finally shared the story behind the tattoo, revealing its deep personal significance.

In a previous interview with Bollywood Bubble, Naga Chaitanya had mentioned that some fans attempted to copy his tattoo without understanding its meaning. He even expressed that he would never recommend anyone replicate it. He explained, “I’ve met a few fans who have tattooed my name and imitated this tattoo (points to his arm). This is not something you would want.”
The actor went on to reveal that the morse code tattoo represents his wedding date with Samantha Ruth Prabhu. “It’s the day I got married,” he said, emphasizing that it held a special meaning for him. He further added that he wouldn’t want fans to get the same tattoo, as it was deeply personal to his own journey.

After his divorce from Samantha, Naga Chaitanya was asked if he would ever consider changing the tattoo. With a laugh, he responded, “I haven’t thought about it till date. There’s nothing to change. It’s fine.”

Did you know Samantha Ruth Prabhu’s 3 tattoos are connected to ex-husband Naga Chaitanya?

Samantha Ruth Prabhu, Naga Chaitanya’s ex-wife, also had a tattoo in his honor, a ‘Chay’ inked above her waist near her rib. She even displayed the tattoo in some of her pictures. However, during an ‘Ask Me Anything’ session on her social media, Samantha hinted that she regretted getting the tattoo, advising her younger self, “Never get tattooed.”

Naga Chaitanya and Samantha tied the knot in 2017 with two separate ceremonies. Sadly, their marriage ended in 2021 when they announced their divorce. Since then, Naga Chaitanya has become engaged to actress Sobhita Dhulipala, and the couple exchanged rings in a private ceremony in Hyderabad on August 8.
