Breaking it down, Kannada has collected Rs 19.6 crore, Telugu Rs 13 crore, Hindi Rs 18.5 crore, Tamil Rs 5.5 crore, and Malayalam Rs 5.25 crore. The fact that the story, which started as a regional film, has created such a stir on a pan-India scale has surprised not only the fans but also the industry. Meanwhile, the official box office numbers for day 1 revealed that the film has grossed around Rs 89 crore globally on the opening day.

The film’s India net collection has crossed Rs 105.5 crore in just two days. Trade sources predict that the weekend will see further increases in collections.
