Swift clinched the victory for her pop album ‘Midnights’, in a ceremony that notably highlighted and celebrated the contributions of female musicians.
With her record-breaking triumph, the 34-year-old surpassed music icons Frank Sinatra, Paul Simon and Stevie Wonder with the most wins of the top Grammy.
Swift bested a stacked slate of artists including Lana Del Rey, Olivia Rodrigo, Grammys darling Jon Batiste and top nominee SZA to take home the award.
While accepting her award from music legend Celine Dion, Taylor began her speech by first thanking her producer Jack and her team. She then went on to dedicate her big win to singer Lana Del Rey, who she walked the red carpet with and collaborated on the song ‘Snow On The Beach’.
She said in her acceptance speech, “Lana Del Rey was hiding. But, I think so many female artists would not be where they are, and would not have the inspiration they have, if it was not for the work that she has done. I think she is a legacy artist and a legend in her prime right now.”
Going on to share her joy on receiving the honour, Taylor said, “I’m so lucky to know you and be your friend. I would love to tell you that this is the best moment of my life, but I feel this happy when I finish a song or when I crack the code to the bride that I love, or when I am shortlisting a music video, or when I’m rehearsing with my dancers, or by band, or getting ready to Tokyo to play a show.”
“Thank you so much for giving me the opportunity to do what I love,” she concluded.

The pop superstar who also won the Grammy for Best Pop Vocal Performance, used the winning moment to announce that she will release a new album on April 19 called ‘The Tortured Poets Department’.
“I want to say thank you to the fans by telling you a secret that I’ve been keeping from you for the last two years,” Swift said as she disclosed the new album.
Billie Eilish added to the female dominance by winning Song of the Year for her ballad ‘What Was I Made For?’, a track featured on the soundtrack of the ‘Barbie’ movie. Meanwhile, Miley Cyrus claimed the Record of the Year honour for her empowering anthem ‘Flowers’.
The title of Best New Artist was bestowed upon R&B and pop singer Victoria Monet, acknowledging her rising influence in the music scene.
The Grammy Awards winners were determined by the votes of musicians, producers, engineers, and other industry professionals who make up the Recording Academy.
