The love ballad ‘Neeye idenenju kothumoru theeyaayi ennakame…’ from the Shane Nigam-starrer Haal was released last week. The first song from the film directed by Veeraa is a soulful melody is composed by Nandagopan V, with lyrics by Vinayak Sasikumar. Aditya RK has rendered the song which features Shane Nigam in a dance sequence.
The movie is touted as one of the most expensive Shane Nigam films. The film stars Sakshi Vaidya alongside Johny Antony, Nadh, Vineeth Beepkumar, K Madhu Pal, Sangeetha Madhavan Nair, Joy Mathew, Nishanth Sagar, Niyas Becker, Riyaz Narmakala, Suresh Krishna, Ravindran, Sohan Seenulal, Manoj KU, Unniraj, and Sreedhanya.
Haal is set to be released in Malayalam, Hindi, Telugu, Tamil, and Kannada. Shot over 90 days, the film places strong emphasis on music. Scripted by Nishad Koya, who returns as a screenwriter after films such as Ordinary, Madhura Naranga, Thoppil Joppan, and Shikkari Shambhu. Bollywood singer Atif Aslam makes his Malayalam playback singing debut in this film.
The film is set for a theatrical release on April 24.
