Filmmaker Rohit Shetty has set the internet abuzz with a surprise teaser featuring Ranveer Singh and Sara Ali Khan, teasing what he calls the “biggest blockbuster of 2025.” The teaser has left fans speculating whether this marks the duo’s return for Simmba 2 or an entirely new cinematic spectacle.
The teaser showcases Ranveer sporting long, scruffy hair with a red headband, while Sara stuns in a desi fusion outfit. The two dance and enjoying each other’s company, before tension builds as they find themselves surrounded by an angry, weapon-wielding crowd.
Shetty’s caption promises a mix of “drama, action, and romance,” while posing an intriguing question: “Kya hoga pyaar? Ya hogi takraar?” (Will there be love? Or will there be conflict?). While some fans are convinced this is an official film announcement, others remain curious, debating in the comments whether this is a full-fledged movie or an ad campaign.
Ranveer and Sara last shared screen space in Simmba (2018), where their chemistry won over audiences. With Ranveer recently reprising his role as Simmba in Singham Again (2024), speculation about a sequel is at an all-time high.
