The Allu Arjun and Rashmika Mandanna starrer ‘Pushpa 2: The Rule’ has continued its record-breaking run at the box office, and has also witnessed a significant growth on its first Saturday.
According to early box offie estimates on Sacnilk, the film recorded one of the highest Saturday collections with an estimated Rs 115 crore collection. The film’s Hindi version alone is poised for its best day since release, with early estimates suggesting a net collection of over Rs 70 crore.
On its third day, ‘Pushpa 2’ is on track to surpass the single-day record held by Shah Rukh Khan‘s ‘Jawan’, which collected Rs 71.63 crore net on its first Sunday. Reports indicate the Saturday collection for the Allu Arjun starrer may reach Rs 73 crore and could even rise to Rs 75 crore. This brings the total Hindi collection for the film to an impressive Rs 200 crore net within just three days. By the end of its first weekend, the film’s Hindi numbers are projected to exceed Rs 270 crore net.Meanwhile, the film has also maintained a steady collection at its regional box office. In Telugu-speaking states, the film saw a strong performance, with Saturday’s gross collection estimated between Rs 30-35 crore. In Tamil Nadu, it nearly matched its opening day numbers, with an estimated Rs 7.5 crore net and a gross collection exceeding Rs 10.5 crore. While Kerala saw a slight decline with around Rs 2.15 crore gross, Karnataka reported a notable surge, with collections expected to reach Rs 11 crore gross.
‘Pushpa 2’ is currently projected to see a growth of over 20% on its first Saturday compared to Friday’s numbers and record a gross collection between Rs 135-140 crore. After beginning its box office run on an impressive start of Rs 164.25 crore on Thursday, the film saw a minor dip in collections on Friday, missing the Rs 100 crore mark by earning an estimated Rs 93.8 crore in all languages.

The film’s total domestic gross has already crossed Rs 455 crore.
With Sunday’s collections still to come, ‘Pushpa 2’ is projected to exceed Rs 270 crore net in Hindi and achieve a staggering Rs 600 crore gross for its opening weekend, setting a new box office record.
