Is Shah Rukh Khan playing an extended cameo in Yash starrer ‘Toxic’? Here’s what we know… | – Times of India

After delivering three back-to-back blockbuster hits in 2023 with ‘Pathaan’, ‘Jawan’ and ‘Dunki’, all eyes are on Shah Rukh Khan as he gears up for his next ventures. Although he is yet to announce his next, there are many speculative reports doing the rounds on social media.

According to an unconfirmed report in Pinkvilla, Shah Rukh Khan has been approahced by the makers of Yash‘s upcoming film ‘Toxic‘ to play an extended cameo role in the gangster-based thriller.

SRK is currently enjoying the pinnacle of his career, and numerous directors are eager to team up with him. Earlier this year, Yash, Geetu Mohandas, and the creators of ‘Toxic’ approached Shah Rukh, offering him a substantial cameo in the gangster-based action film. The role is significant and not merely a gimmick, featuring a well-defined track for the character. The makers are optimistic about securing Shah Rukh Khan’s participation in the project.

The character in question is powerful and requires a superstar’s presence. According to the report, King Khan is anticipated to decide on the role within the next two weeks. This isn’t the initial instance of SRK being approached for a cameo or guest appearance in a Pan India film. In late 2023, Lokesh Kanagaraj had also approached SRK for a brief appearance in his project alongside Rajinikanth, but the collaboration did not materialize.
SRK also has Siddharth Anand‘s ‘Tiger VS Pathaan‘ with Salman Khan in the lead role.
