Did Marvel star Don Lee just CONFIRM role in Prabhas’ next? Fans speculate between ‘Spirit’ and ‘Salaar: Part 2’ | – Times of India

Marvel star Don Lee, known for his role as Gilgamesh in ‘Eternals’, has stirred excitement among Indian fans by hinting at a possible collaboration with superstar Prabhas.
Social media was abuzz with speculation that the Korean actor may just be teaming up with Prabhas for his next project after he shared Prabhas’ poster. In his Instagram stories, the actor, rumoured to be in talks to play the villain opposite Prabhas, shared the new ‘Salaar: Part 2‘ poster and added a thumbs-up emoticon.
Though no official announcement has been made, Lee’s recent social media activity has sparked speculation among fans. However, this unexpected development has also led fans to debate which film Lee might appear in. While many presumed that he would play the leading antagonist in ‘Salaar: Part 2’, the sequel to Prashanth Neel’s action-thriller, others suggested that he could just be the primary contender for ‘Spirit’, a new project directed by acclaimed filmmaker Sandeep Reddy Vanga.

For ‘Spirit’, Prabhas will take on a powerful new role under the direction of Vanga who worked on films like ‘Animal’, ‘Arjun Reddy‘ and ‘Kabir Singh’. According to the latest reports, the director plans on wrapping up the film before he moves on to the highly anticipated sequel ‘Animal Park’, starring Ranbir Kapoor in the lead.

Meanwhile, ‘Salaar: Part 2’ has been creating waves online after it was confirmed that the actor signed a three-picture contract with Hombale Films. The production house shared in an X post, “Made in India and Built to Last! #PrabhasXHombal3Films. We are proud to unite with the Rebel Star, #Prabhas, in a groundbreaking three-film partnership that celebrates the essence of Indian cinema and aims to take it to the world. This is a declaration of our commitment to creating cinematic experiences that will be unforgettable. The stage is set and the path ahead is limitless. Get ready, as the journey begins with #Salaar2…”

Don Lee, also known as Ma Dong-seok, won international acclaim for his roles in ‘Train To Bhusan’ and the Marvel movie ‘Eternals’. It remains to be seen if the actor will indeed be part of an Indian blockbuster – and if so, whether it will be ‘Spirit’, ‘Salaar: Part 2’, or perhaps even both.
