Kathryn Hahn returns as Agatha Harkness, a role she first brought to life in ‘WandaVision‘, as she ‘claws’ her way out of a spell. One of the most significant reveals in the trailer is the confirmation of the fate of Elizabeth Olsen‘s character, the Scarlet Witch, since she was last seen in ‘Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness’.Many have speculated about Wanda Maximoff‘s fate after the film’s ending implied that she died during the collapse of the Darkhold temple. However, the trailer now confirms Wanda’s death by ‘blunt force trauma’.

There by Agatha’s side in this series is Aubrey Plaza’s character who helps her set out on a quest to break free from the spell and reclaim her magic.
While the trailer confirms Wanda’s death, it also offers a glimmer of hope for fans of the comics that the Scarlet Witch might return. Hahn’s Agatha plans to head down the Witches’ Road, an alternate realm accessible only to magic wielders. This path, as mentioned in the comics, is fraught with magical dangers and is not meant to be walked alone, prompting Agatha to assemble a coven.
The official synopsis of the film reads, “In Agatha All Along, the infamous Agatha Harkness finds herself down and out of power after a suspicious goth Teen helps break her free from a distorted spell. Her interest is piqued when he begs her to take him on the legendary Witches’ Road, a magical gauntlet of trials that, if survived, rewards a witch with what they’re missing. Together, Agatha and this mysterious Teen pull together a desperate coven, and set off down, down, down The Road…”
The series boasts a star-studded cast, including Joe Locke, Sasheer Zamata, Ali Ahn, Maria Dizzia, Paul Adelstein, Miles Gutierrez-Riley, and Okwui Okpokwasili, with special appearances by Debra Jo Rupp, Patti LuPone, and Aubrey Plaza.
