Sharing his heartfelt grief, he shared that Pankaj Udas had left the world too soon; there was so much more left to learn from him.
Here’s what his exact post read – “आपके तीन कैसेट्स ने मुझे पहली बार ये बताया था ग़ज़ल क्या होती है. मेरे जैसे हज़ारों को कविता और शायरी की तमीज़ सिखाने वाले पंकज उद्यास जी, इतनी जल्दी आपका जाना बनता नहीं था! अभी तो बहुत कुछ सीखना था आपसे. ॐ शान्ति!”
After fighting the battle with prolonged illness, Pankaj Udhas breathed his last on February 26. The news of his demise, confirmed by his family, left everyone in a state of shock and profound grief. It is still hard for everyone to come to terms with the news of his passing away.
The last rites of the singer will be performed on Tuesday.
