Tollywood superstar Allu Arjun‘s residence in Jubilee Hills, Hyderabad, became the scene of chaos after a group of individuals staged an aggressive protest on Sunday ( December 22). A recent clip going viral on social media shows a group of men pelting stones, breaking flowerpots, and reportedly throwing tomatoes at the building. Allu was not present at his home during the shocking incident.
The protesters, reportedly from the Osmania University Joint Action Committee (OU-JAC), demanded justice for the family of a female fan, Revathi, who tragically died in the stampede that occurred during the ‘Pushpa 2: The Rule’ premiere at Sandhya Theatre on December 4. According to India Today, they demanded Rs 1 crore in compensation for Revathi’s family and justice for Sri Tej, an eight-year-old victim currently undergoing treatment for injuries sustained in the stampede. The group also attempted to force entry into the premises before police intervened and arrested eight individuals, who were later taken to Jubilee Hills Police Station.

Earlier, Allu was arrested following a complaint lodged by the deceased’s husband. He spent a night at Chanchalguda Jail before being released on bail. After the incident, he had promised Rs 25 lakh to Revathi’s family, while the film’s director, Sukumar, pledged Rs 5 lakh as compensation.
Hours before the protest, Allu released a statement urging fans to maintain decorum and avoid abusive behaviour. He wrote, “I appeal to all my fans to express their feelings responsibly, as always, and not resort to any kind of abusive language or behaviour, both online and offline. Misrepresentation as my fans with fake IDs and fake profiles – if someone indulges in abusive posts, strong action will be taken against them. I request fans not to engage with such posts.”
