Corrections and Clarifications — January 22, 2025

The last sentence of a report, “Queen Sembiyan was the real founder of the Chola Empire, says Kanisetti” (Main editions, ‘Lit for Life’ page, January 20, 2025), should have read: “… from historical records that no previous Chola royals patronised as many temples as the late queen Sembiyan Mahadevi across Tamil Nadu.”
