Akasa Air is planning to launch an IPO in the next 2-5 years, CEO Vinay Dube said on Wednesday (October 29, 2025).
The 30-aircraft strong airline that launched flight operations 3 years ago is also grappling with hundreds of pilots grounded due to delay in deliveries, but the CEO said all its pilots will start accruing flying hours in the next “30-60” days.
“The airline will also restart hiring First Officers in the second half of 2026,” Mr. Dube said at Aviation India Summit.
