A day after Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) former Minister Anmol Gagan Mann announced that she was quitting politics and tendered her resignation as legislator from the State Assembly, the party on Sunday (July 20, 2025) rejected her decision.
Ms. Mann, an MLA from the Kharar Assembly constituency, was one of the four Ministers dropped from the Cabinet in 2024.
AAP’s Punjab president Aman Arora said that he met Ms. Mann and conveyed to her that the party had rejected her resignation. “We agreed to continue working together for the progress of the party and the constituency. Anmol was, is, and will remain a part of Arvind Kejriwal and the AAP family,” he said in a post on X.
Ms. Mann also confirmed that she accepted the party’s decision.
