Health care coverage for roughly 17 million Americans is currently in question as members of the House of Representatives vote on President Donald Trump’s so-called “big, beautiful bill,” which passed in the Senate on Tuesday.
A major part of the bill is $1 trillion in cuts to Medicaid, the federal and state health care program that pays health care costs for low-income people, disabled children and adults, along with other folks with limited resources.
