Bollywood star Alia Bhatt\u2019s upcoming film Jigra<\/a><\/i>, directed by Vasan Bala<\/a>, has locked a new release date. The film, which was earlier set to release in September, will now release on October 11, the makers announced on Thursday.<\/p>\n Co-starring The Archies<\/i> actor Vedang Raina, Jigra <\/i>is billed as a drama on a tale of a sister\u2019s love for her brother and how she would do anything to protect him.<\/p>\n Notably, Alia, who made her production debut with 2022\u2019s Darlings<\/i>, has also bankrolled Jigra <\/i>under her Eternal Sunshine Productions<\/a> banner, in association with Dharma Productions. Karan Johar, Apoorva Mehta and Somen Mishra are credited as co-producers.<\/p>\n Apart from this, Alia will also be seen next in director Farhan Akhtar\u2019s film Jee Le Zaraa<\/i><\/a> alongside Priyanka Chopra and Katrina Kaif.<\/p>\n Vasan is known for directing the action comedy\u00a0Mard Ko Dard Nahi Hota<\/i>, crime-thriller Peddlers<\/i>, and the comic noir\u00a0Monica, O My Darling<\/i>.\u00a0Jigra<\/i>\u00a0markd his first collaboration with Dharma Productions and Alia.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n
