Responding to the controversy over a scene \u201churting sentiments of Christians\u201d, the makers of the Hindi film Jaat<\/i><\/a> have decided to delete the specific scene. On Friday (April 18, 2025), an FIR was lodged against actors Sunny Deol, Randeep Hooda and three others<\/a> from the film following a complaint that a scene in Jaat<\/i> had \u201churt sentiments\u201d of the Christian community.<\/p>\n In an official statement, the makers confirmed that the scene has been removed. \u201cThere has been a backlash for a specific scene in the movie. The scene has been removed with immediate effect,\u201d said the makers.<\/p>\n The complainant, Viklav Gold, a Christian community leader, alleged that the movie, which was released on April 10, contains scenes that disrespect Jesus Christ and Christian religious practices. <\/p>\n The makers of Jaat<\/i> said in their statement that \u201ctheir intention was not to hurt any religious sentiments.\u201d They added, \u201cWe deeply regret it and have taken the action of deleting the scene immediately. We sincerely apologise to everyone whose beliefs have been hurt.\u201d<\/p>\n Jaat<\/i>, directed by Telugu filmmaker Gopichand Malineni, revolves around an Andhra Village plagued by injustice and brutality.
