The film required the lead actress to take on physically and emotionally intense scenes, as well as travel to various locations. He admitted that he was \u201cshocked and depressed\u201d when he found out about Aishwarya\u2019s pregnancy, especially with 65 days of shooting still left. He wrote that Aishwarya would have been \u201c6-7 months pregnant\u201d while filming, which would \u201cdrastically change the character and the story\u201d.

I don\u2019t think this can be a part of any contract that you cannot get married or have children if you\u2019re working on a project.\u201d
