Mohun Bagan Super Giant completed a grand double as it lifted the Indian Super League trophy with a 2-1 win over\u00a0Bengaluru FC in the final at the Salt Lake Stadium here on Saturday.<\/p>\n
Bengaluru went ahead early in the second half after an own goal by\u00a0Bagan defender Alberto Rodriguez.<\/p>\n
The home side found the equaliser through a penalty by Jason Cummings before Jamie\u00a0Maclaren produced the winner in the first half of extra-time.<\/p>\n

<\/span><\/div>\n Bagan, which had won the League Shield earlier in the season, became the second team to achieve the double after Mumbai City\u00a0FC (2020-21).<\/p>\n The visitors dominated the opening half and were unlucky in not finding the back of the net.<\/p>\n However,\u00a0Bengaluru was rewarded for its efforts immediately after the break when\u00a0Bagan centre-back Rodriguez put the ball into his own goal while trying to clear an attempt from\u00a0Bengaluru forward Ryan Williams.<\/p>\n Bagan came alive after the hour-mark when head coach Jose Molina brought in\u00a0Ashique Kurunian and\u00a0Sahal Abdul\u00a0Samad for Liston\u00a0Colaco and\u00a0Anirudh Thapa.
