This year’s National Film Awards were extra special for Bollywood. Shah Rukh Khan finally won the Best Actor award for Jawan, a moment fans had been waiting for. Fans get nostalgic about Swades
As soon as he shared the post, fans showered love in the comment section. While one fan wrote, ‘Ashutosh sir, this one is for Swades. He didn’t deserve this long due, but I truly want to thank you for giving us a film that changed everything in Indian cinema. Eternal gratitude & lots of love’, another one added, ‘Swades got justice.’Fans also praised the strong bond between the actor and the director. SRK’s heartfelt note of thanks
After his name was announced as the recipient for National Award, Shah Rukh Khan penned a note of thanks on his social media. He wrote. “I want to thank all my directors, writers – especially for the years 2023. So, thank you Raju sir (Rajkumar Hirani), Sid (Siddharth Anand), and especially, thanks to Atlee sir and his team for giving me the opportunity in ‘Jawan’, and trusting me to deliver, and be worthy of this award. Atlee sir, this is like you say, ‘mass...'”Along with Shah Rukh Khan, Rani Mukerji, Karan Johar, and Vikrant Massey also took home top honours.
