‘Welcome to the Jungle’: Akshay Kumar announces shoot wrap of the multi-starrer comedy

Akshay Kumar took to social media on December 25, 2025 to announce the shoot wrap of his upcoming comedy-entertainer, Welcome to the Jungle.

Directed by Ahmed Khan, the film also stars Suniel Shetty, Paresh Rawal, Raveena Tandon, Arshad Warsi, Lara Dutta, Aftab Shivdasani, Disha Patani, Rajpal Yadav and Tusshar Kapoor in pivotal roles.

Akshay shared a video with all the cast as they are seen walking together, dressed as their respective characters from the film. He wrote in caption, “Wishing one and all a very Merry Christmas from the giant cast of Welcome to the Jungle! In cinemas 2026. Never have I ever been part of something so big…none of us have. We can’t wait to present our gift to you. It’s a wrap, people! Well done, gang. Such a huge effort from everyone involved in making this happen. From our big family to yours at home, we wish you nothing but the best for 2026. #WelcomeToTheJungle #Welcome3.”

Produced by Firoz A. Nadiadwallah, the film will be released in theatres in 2026.

The first film in the Welcome franchise was released in 2007 and starred Akshay, Anil Kapoor, Nana Patekar, Paresh and Katrina Kaif in pivotal roles. A sequel to the film was released in 2015, with John Abraham and Shruti Haasan.
