At The Hindu Huddle in Bengaluru, Telangana Chief Minister Revanth Reddy raised strong concerns about the ongoing delimitation exercise, warning that it could disadvantage southern States that implemented population control measures.
In a conversation with Ravikanth Reddy, Political Editor, Telangana, The Hindu, the CM proposed a 33% seat allocation for the South and questioned the Centre’s approach to federal equity.
Mr. Reddy also discussed Telangana’s caste census model, reforms in residential schooling, and the state’s proactive approach to agriculture, women’s welfare, and foreign investments. He outlined plans for a fourth city around Hyderabad and infrastructure developments aimed at making Telangana globally competitive.
