Two Congress workers were injured in an alleged attack by Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) workers at Eruvatty Indiraji Nagar in Pinarayi in Kannur, Kerala during a Thalapoli festival at Pullyottumkavu on Wednesday (March 12).
The incident occurred around 12.30 a.m when Congress workers Biju and Sanoj were reportedly participating in a traditional ritual. The Congress said that the attack was allegedly led by RSS workers Vipin and Vishnu of Panund Chakkayatmukku.
Both injured persons are undergoing treatment at a hospital.
The police have filed a case and launched an investigation into the incident.
