A workshop on fostering innovation and entrepreneurial spirit was organised for the polytechnic and engineering students as part of the ongoing ‘Swadeshi Mela’ at Dr B.R. Ambedkar stadium in Karimnagar on Wednesday.
The mela featured a host of other events aimed at promoting the indigenous products and handicrafts as well as awareness sessions on government subsidies meant to promote domestic manufacturing across the sectors.
The Swadeshi Mela witnessed a steady stream of visitors on Wednesday. More than 200 stalls have been set up at the mela.
An array of indigenous products, including handicrafts and handlooms, are kept on display cum sale. The mela will conclude on February 16, 2025.
