The Vakkom Moulavi commemorative lecture and the Vakkom Moulavi Memorial Award 2024 distribution will be held at the Thiruvananthapuram Press Club on December 21.
Organised by the Vakkom Moulavi Memorial and Research Centre, this event marks the conclusion of the centenary celebrations of the Aluva all-faith conference of 1924, where Vakkom Moulavi participated along with Sree Narayana Guru.
The Vakkom Moulavi Memorial Award will be presented to veteran journalist T.J.S. George for his contributions to media and public life. Writer-critic Sunil P. Ilayildom will deliver the commemorative lecture.
