Telangana signs MoU with US-based Tillman Global Holdings to develop a ₹15,000 crore data center facility in Hyderabad


Telangana government has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with US-based Tillman Global Holdings to develop a ₹15,000 crore, 300 MW data center facility in Hyderabad. The announcement was made during the World Economic Forum (WEF) annual conference 2025 in Davos, Switzerland.

The MoU was formalized in the presence of the Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy; IT and Industries Minister D. Sridhar Babu; special chief secretary, IT and Industries, Jayesh Ranjan, IAS and other officials. Sachit Ahuja, president of Tillman Global Holdings, represented the company.

“The proposed data centers will cater to hyperscale clients and support AI-driven applications, cloud services, and large-scale data processing. The facility will incorporate energy-efficient systems, advanced cooling technologies, and robust cybersecurity measures, fostering innovation in Telangana’s digital ecosystem,” as per official communication on Thursday (January 23, 2025).

The IT Minister said that Tillman Global Holdings’ investment reflects Telangana’s investor-friendly policies and its ability to attract global technology leaders. “This partnership with Tillman Global Holdings will further enhance Hyderabad’s stature as a global data centre hub,” he said.

President of Tillman Global Holdings, said “Telangana offers a perfect blend of visionary leadership, robust infrastructure, and a talented workforce. We are excited to partner with the Government of Telangana to establish a world-class data center and contribute to the region’s economic growth and technological advancements.”
