District Medical and Health Officer, Khammam, Dr. Kalavathi Bhai on Tuesday ordered sealing of an ‘unauthorised’ ‘Pain relief acupuncture clinic’ at Kaman Bazar in Khammam.
The order follows a surprise inspection of the clinic by a team of officials headed by Dr. Kalavathi Bhai on Tuesday afternoon.
According to a press release, the clinic is being operated by a person ‘without’ requisite qualifications and registration.
The officials warned of strict action against unauthorised medical practitioners as per law.
Deputy DM&HO Dr. Saidulu and others accompanied the DM&HO.
