Minister’s swift action helps abandoned man receive medical care in Annamayya district


Locals and officials concerned shifting a sick man to an ambulance following instructions from Transport Minister Mandipalli Ramprasad Reddy, at Lakkireddipalle in Annamayya district on Thursday.

In a humanitarian gesture, Minister for Transport, Youth Affairs, and Sports Mandipalli Ramprasad Reddy helped a sick and abandoned man receive immediate medical care after a photo of him lying in distress under a tree at Lakkireddipalle town in Annamayya district surfaced on social media.

According to reports, Sheikh Subhan Bhasha, alleged to be abandoned by his family members, was unable to walk and had collapsed under a tree in a vulnerable state. A concerned individual took a photograph and shared it on social media, seeking help. The image immediately caught the attention of the Minister, who promptly took action.

Upon seeing the photo, the Minister instructed the local leaders of Lakkireddipalle mandal to ensure proper medical assistance for Subhan Bhasha. Responding to his directive, the local authorities arranged an ambulance and transported him to the local government hospital, where he received necessary medical care.

Meanwhile, the Minister stressed on the importance of helping those in need, stating that such humanitarian efforts should be seen as a collective responsibility. Several local representatives and residents praised the Minister for his swift intervention.
