DMK president and Chief Minister M.K. Stalin on Monday said his government would strongly oppose any project that affected the development of Tamil Nadu. In a letter to his partymen, he recalled his visit to Madurai on Sunday where he was felicitated by people over the Union government annulling the tungsten mining project at Arittapatti. Listing the steps taken by the DMK government against the project, Mr. Stalin highlighted the resolution against the proposal adopted by the State Assembly.
