The body of a 33-year-old man, who was washed away in an overflowing stream near Pattepur village in Raichur district on Wednesday, was retrieved by personnel of the Fire and Emergency Services and police on Thursday.
He was Identified as Basavaraj, a native of Venkatapur (J) village.
He was washed away in the stream when he was trying to cross it to reach his village.
