APTD, APTF jointly organise roadshow in Chhattisgarh


The second road show, organised by Andhra Pradesh Tourism Department (APTD) and Andhra Pradesh Tourism Forum (APTF), was held in Raipur on Saturday night (March 22, 2025). Ajay Jain, Special Chief Secretary to Government, Tourism & Culture, Government of Andhra Pradesh, and Vivek Acharya, Managing Director Chhattisgarh Tourism Board, Government of Chhattisgarh, participated as guests.

Mr. Ajay Jain announced that Andhra Pradesh Tourism would soon be doing their travel mart and also present a comprehensive Andhra Pradesh State presentation. He elaborated about the destination development plans on hub and spoke model and circuit model, anchor hubs, thematic circuits, three major eco circuits for development, sea plane and heli tourism, hop-on-hop-off bus services, Andhra Pradesh’ s homestay ecosystem upgrade and expansion.

He also mentioned about the ongoing projects of the Government of India under SASCI, trade fairs, road shows and conferences being planned, Andhra Pradesh Tourism Policy 2025-29 and the policy initiatives.

The event saw the participation from 20 leading hotels from Andhra Pradesh and more than 50 travel partners from Raipur in the first ever B2B meetings and a networking sessions. Secretary of APTF Pavan Kartheek presided over the meeting.

In his welcome address, APTF president K. Vijay Mohan, spoke about how both the States have to work on common itineraries on Buddhist and tribal itineraries. Joint secretary Jaideep Biswas, proposed a vote of thanks.

Andhra Pradesh Tourism Forum members felicitated Ajay Jain, Vivek Acharya, and Chhattisgarh Tours and Travels Agents Association representatives Kapil Jain, Ritesh Mundra and Jaspreet Bhatia.
