Andhra Pradesh govt. ties up with Google for harnessing AI tech


Andhra Pradesh Minister for Information Technology Nara Lokesh with the Google team after the signing of MoU, at the Secretariat on Thursday.

The Government of Andhra Pradesh entered into an agreement with Google on December 5, 2024 (Thursday) for conducting training sessions on Artificial Intelligence (AI)-related services to industries, extending cooperation in delivering healthcare and environmental sustainability solutions by integrating AI and Machine Learning technologies, and organising skill classes in all schools and colleges in the State.

Secretary (Real Time Governance) S. Suresh Kumar and Google Cloud India Vice-President Bikram Singh Bedi signed the agreement in the presence of Information Technology Minister Nara Lokesh at the Secretariat.

Mr. Lokesh said that ease of living was the basic policy of the State government, and the main goal was to provide services in the least possible time using advanced technologies.

Secretary (Industries & Commerce) N. Yuvaraj, CEO of A.P. Economic Development Board C.M. Saikanth Varma, CEO of Real Time Governance Society K. Dinesh Kumar, and Secretary (CMO) Kartikeya Mishra were among the senior officers present.
